I recently participated in a wonderful blog experiment called Month of Love, the brain child of awesome illustrator, Kristina Carroll. It was a lot of fun and a pleasure veiwing all of the great work throughout the month.

Here are a few of my favorite images that I made during the month of February for the blog. Some of them even made it on to my website!

Sheesh! OK. I have not posted on here in a while. I recently was in and co-curated a show called Eye Candy. The point of the show was for young illustrators to step out of their shells and reveal their secret guilt pleasures about life in NYC. The opening reception was this past Saturday ( a little late, I know). I couldn’t have asked for a better turn out! For more info on the show visit HERE.

Thanks to all of the amazing artists in the show, Lia Post at Fowler Arts Collective, and my amazing best friend and co-curator, Katie Blocher Izzo!!

If anyone has any photos from the event please send them to me! :) tarajacoby@gmail.com

gallerayblog:

Much of the conversation when it comes to art surrounds the topic of “community”. More often than not, community involvement suggests a positive relationship - attachment to a supportive environment that fosters collaboration, development and education, providing connectivity whether the group…
