I recently participated in a wonderful blog experiment called Month of Love, the brain child of awesome illustrator, Kristina Carroll. It was a lot of fun and a pleasure veiwing all of the great work throughout the month.
Here are a few of my favorite images that I made during the month of February for the blog. Some of them even made it on to my website!

Sheesh! OK. I have not posted on here in a while. I recently was in and co-curated a show called Eye Candy. The point of the show was for young illustrators to step out of their shells and reveal their secret guilt pleasures about life in NYC. The opening reception was this past Saturday ( a little late, I know). I couldn’t have asked for a better turn out! For more info on the show visit HERE.
Thanks to all of the amazing artists in the show, Lia Post at Fowler Arts Collective, and my amazing best friend and co-curator, Katie Blocher Izzo!!
If anyone has any photos from the event please send them to me! :) tarajacoby@gmail.com
Artists in the show included:
Wesley Allsbrook, Elizabeth Baddeley, Jonathan Bartlett, Chi Birmingham, Sam Wolfe Connelly, Exit Deer, Johnny Dombrowski, Jensine Eckwall, Jared Fiorino, Daniel Fishel, Nick Iluzada, Tara Jacoby, John Malta, Keith Negley, Robyn Ng, Tae Querney, Matt Rota, Ross Schaner, Dadu Shin, Kim Sielbeck, Kyle Stecker, Skip Sterling, and Katie Turner.
A recent illo I did for AD Nick Jehlen over at The Progressive. It was for a book review on “The Betrayal of the American Dream” by Donald L. Barlett and James B. Steele.
