I just received an email from Mark Heflin over at American Illustration-American Photography announcing the launch of their most current book, American Illustration 29, on November 11 in NYC. You can order your copy here.
For those of you new to the illustration world you should mark that date down on your calendar. It’s a REALLY great party and event!
But more importantly, it is also during ILLUSTRATION WEEK!!!! Along with AI-AP, participating organizations including the Society of Illustrators, Parsons The New School of Design, Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art, and others have organized a ton of really cool events.
I gotta spice up the Society’s website with a page announcing the schedule and once I do I can share here.
For now, enjoy this illustration by Sam Weber which will be featured as a special fold-out jacket-as-poster for the book.
